Announcing the 2012 CJ Pony Parts Rally Dixie!

After an amazing Rally Appalachia this past July, the CJ Pony Parts Rally Dixie 2012 is on the horizon for next summer. It's time to get ready and get excited!!

Next year's Rally North America is going to kick off in Noblesville, Indiana with the Pre-Rally Driver's Meeting on June 18, 2012, followed by the departure from the same town the next morning. The first day will end up with a dinner at the Smokey Bones Bar & Fire Grill in Bowling Green Kentucky. Smokey Bones is going to be hosting the dinner, and making a donation to the Accelerated Cure Project, this year's charity.

The next morning, Day 2, the rally will start from the National Corvette Museum, also in Bowling Green, KY. During Day 2, participants will do some drag racing at the Clarksville Speedway. The overnight stop for Day 2 into Day 3 is tentatively in Gadsden, Alabama, which will also be the tentative starting line for Day 3. The third and final day of the rally will feature some pace laps at the Talladega Super Speedway and end up at the Ramada Plaza Beach Resort in Fort Walton Beach, Florida.

As we mentioned, the 2012 Rally Dixie charity will be the Accelerated Cure Project, which works to accelerate the cure for Multiple Sclerosis by better funding research into the causes and mechanisms of the disease. In addition, a few new, big name sponsors might be signing on for 2012--stay tuned as things get finalized!

If you want to get involved, there's might be a roster spot for you! Sign up using the Rally Dixie 2012 Stand By Form, and the Rally North American officials will contact you regarding available roster spots.

Finally, wrap ups and videos from Rally Appalachia 2011 are still trickling in. In the next few weeks, we're expecting to see a long article reviewing the whole event, along with a wrap up video.

Check back--we'll have the 2011 wrap up for you as soon as it becomes available, along with all the news and information on the 2012 Rally Dixie!
