Jack Roush Hospitalized After Plane Crash

Jack Roush, co-owner of Roush Fenway Racing and chairman of ROUSH® Enterprises, was hospitalized yesterday, following a plane crash at Wittman Regional Airport in OshKosh, Wisconsin.

While trying to land his Hawker Beechcraft Premier jet, Roush crashed on the Wittman Air Field in Wisconsin around 6:15pm local time. He was traveling to visit the 2010 Experimental Aircraft Association's AirVenture show this week, to unveil and auction off the one-of-a-kind SR-71 "Blackbird" Ford Mustang. This Mustang was a joint venture project between Jack Roush, Carroll Shelby and Ford Motor Company.

After being rushed to a local hospital, Dr. Kevin Wasco reported that Roush is, "in serious but stable condition. His injuries are not life threatening."

We hope that Roush makes a speedy recovery. This is the second airplane crash Jack Roush has been involved in. His personal jet crashed in a body of water located near Talladega, Alabama in 2002.
