Obviously, we love Mustangs here at CJ Pony Parts, but we also enjoy a variety of other Fords, including trucks. And, similarly, we know that many people enjoy working on and making upgrades to their truck, which is why we offer a variety of parts for the F-150 SVT Raptor.
The Raptor is known for its aggressive off-road handling, wider body, and a more unique look than the F-150, but there are countless aftermarket performance parts that can customize and enhance your truck even more! Now with CJ Pony Parts, you can experience our same day shipping and quality CJ service while ordering body parts and performance upgrades for your F-150 SVT Raptor!
One of the parts we’ve been most excited to actually install is Ford Racing’s 2011-2013 F-150 Raptor Cat-Back Exhaust, and when we heard the mild sound from the Raptor’s stock exhaust, we knew an upgrade was needed, asap!
Ford Racing’s cat-back exhaust is uniquely designed, using high-quality T-304 stainless steel, ultra-smooth mandrel bends, and warp-free flanges. On top of superior craftsmanship, this exhaust is tuned to provide optimum performance, so you can be guaranteed the output blows away the Raptor’s stock exhaust. It’s also available in for the four-door and extended cab Raptors. If you want your Raptor to sound as good as it looks, and you’re in the mood for an afternoon project, installing this cat-back exhaust is just the thing for you!
As always, our installation videos demonstrate the install process in a step-by-step manner, and in this installation, Bill provides several helpful tips to make this project a smooth and easy one. You’ll begin installation by lifting your Raptor and removing the factory exhaust, making sure to spray some penetrating lubricant on all the bolts and hangers. Due to the sheer size and weight of the exhaust, Bill highly suggests getting a helping hand to separate and remove the factory exhaust system from underneath your Raptor.
Then, install the front intermediate pipe, hang the muffler, and the tailpipe. When installing the tailpipe, Bill suggests either removing the mount or taking off the tire. Connect the muffler to the tailpipes, tighten the clamps, and then all you need to do is install the exhaust tips!
The factory sound from the Ford Raptor doesn’t even compare to the aggressive and deeper roar from the Ford Racing Cat-Back exhaust. Even more, the ultra-smooth mandrel bends and chrome plated, embossed exhaust tips provide a much cleaner and more polished look than stock.
We know there are some times when a Mustang just doesn’t cut it, especially when off-roading or towing, and with our selection of SVT Raptor parts, we’ve still got you covered! For more information on this exhaust, and to browse the selection of other Raptor parts, make sure to visit our website.
