Shelby launches 50th Anniversary GTS, GT350, and Super Snake Mustangs

In honor of their 50th anniversary, Shelby American has launched a new line of 50th anniversary edition Shelby Mustangs. The new anniversary line-up includes Shelby GTS, GT350, and Super Snake models in black or white. Shelby is only building 50 of each color, so each will be an instant collector's item that you won't want to miss out on!

Each of the Shelby 50th Anniversary Edition Mustangs will feature gold stripes to signify the company's golden milestone. They also contain commemorative 50th anniversary badging, custom interiors, special wheels, six piston front brakes, car cover and a unique VIN number that will be entered into the official registry. The package also includes a special delivery ceremony at the Shelby factory in Las Vegas, along with some exclusive collector merchandise.

The GT500 Super Snake is the most powerful Shelby yet, with 650, 750 or 800 horsepower configurations available. This car is based on the GT500 and is enhanced at the Shelby American facility with more powerful brakes, better handling, and updated styling to match the massive horsepower that's available. The GT350 features 430, 525 or 624 horsepower with similarly upgraded brakes and suspension. Both the Super Snake and GT350 are based on the Mustang GT and are available in coupe or convertible for $59,995, not including the cost of the base Mustang. Finally, the GTS can be based on the Mustang GT or V6 and offers upgraded appearance, brakes, tune and suspension, all for $19,995 for the V6 or $24,995 for the GT.

Each of these beautiful Shelby's gives owners the opportunity to own a piece of American automotive history. Visit or for more information about the 50th Anniversary Edition vehicles and the 2012 Shelby American 50th Anniversary Tour.
