The Mustang's 50th Anniversary is JUST around the corner!

Believe it or not, we're just over a month away from celebrating the Mustang's 50th Anniversary! The Mustang Club of America has been planning two HUGE birthday celebrations and THIS WEEK is your LAST CHANCE to register to take part!

These events are being held at two separate locations: Las Vegas Motor Speedway in Las Vegas, Nevada and the Charlotte Motor Speedway in Concord, North Carolina. These two locations give practically every Mustang owner nationwide the opportunity to participate.

Before the festivities begin, however, you can take part in what could be the largest cruise in history! The MCA and the Great American Pony Drive has been working together to coordinate a two part Pony Drive. For part one, the Great American Pony Drive is coordinating getting hundreds of Mustang owners from their home areas throughout the United States and guiding them to Norman, Oklahoma, where the first of many Mustang 50th Birthday celebrations will be taking place.

After that party winds down, on Sunday, April 13, the MCA will be kicking off two separate cruises to each of the Mustang 50th Birthday Celebrations. One cruise will be heading to Las Vegas via Amarillo, Albuquerque and Flagstaff, while the other will head to Charlotte via Little Rock, Nashville and Asheville.

Mustang 50th Birthday CelebrationOnce you've arrived at either of the Mustang 50th Birthday Celebrations, the fun will really begin!

Each event begins with Opening Ceremonies on April 17, the Mustang's official 50th birthday, followed by one of the world's largest Mustang car shows, many different parties, a banquet, time with dozens of VIPs, a cruise in Charlotte, the Shelby American Gala in Las Vegas, displays by vendors and manufacturers (including CJ Pony Parts!) and much, much more!

Thousands of Mustangs are expected at each location, including some of the most rare Mustangs on the planet. You won't want to miss it!

If you want to be there, you have to register NOW!

Registration for this once-in-a-lifetime event ends at midnight on Saturday, March 15.

There won't be any opportunity after that, and no tickets will be available at the gate.

The Ford Mustang only turns 50 once - an event of this magnitude won't come around again until 2064 - the Mustang's 100th Birthday!

Register for Charlotte, Las Vegas or the Pony Drive today!

Let us know if you're coming, too, by responding to our Mustang 50th Birthday Celebration event on Facebook. We'll see you there!

I took my new baby (2004 red Mustang Convertible mach 1) to Pep Boy's to remove and replace the alternator assembly and to check out the rag top to figure out why it won't go up or down. When I bought "her" on October 21st,2013 it was working just fine. I haven't been able to drive for the past 4 months'cuz I had surgery and was flat on my back for the whole time. The guy at Pep Boy's said he took the switch out and found that it was broken. What I'd like to know is, is this a normal thing to happen to this particular part? Also, I suggested that he check out the fluid in the motor for the top because I was told that alot of people forget about that. I fell in love with the Ford Mustang Convertible the very first time I saw it 50 years ago and I want to maintain her and keep her in the presteen condition that I feel she should be. Sorry, to make a long story short, Please tell me that I didn't do any harm letting her set for 4 months?

I be there. At n.c. at show working there as a helper. We coming from south Jersey
