With the lowered stance and front splitter, Gotta Have It Street already looked pretty aggressive. We just weren’t done. Now we’ve added a Roush Side Skirt and Rear Splitter.
Originally, we lowered Gotta Have It Street using an Eibach Pro-Street S Coil-Over Damper Kit. Next, we added a Roush Front Splitter to the car late last year, which started building the aggressive look. Our 2013 Mustang GT still looked unfinished, though, until we found these splitter kits. Inspired by the Roush 427R and other special edition Roush Mustangs, both of these Roush kits extend the aggressive look that we love on Gotta Have It Street the whole way around the car.
To get this look, we needed to install two splitter kits from Roush:
Roush provides everything needed for installation in the kit, including push pins for the side skirt and a drilling template for the rear splitter, plus any other hardware that you need. In this video, Bill walks you through the installation of both kits on Gotta Have It Street. For both kits, the process will only take about two hours and, outside of a drill, only require hand tools.
Once you watch the video, you’ll see the new Roush Side Skirt/Splitter Kit and the Roush Rear Side Splitter Kit working very well with the Roush Front Splitter that we had installed a few weeks ago. We think it really completes the aggressive look on our Mustang, and we can’t wait to get Gotta Have It Street out on the road more regularly once winter is over!
What do you think of these new Roush splitter kits on Gotta Have It Street?
