CJ Pony Parts moves up among area’s Top 50 Fastest Growing Companies

CJ Pony Parts is very proud to announce that it has been ranked on the Central Penn Business Journal’s annual list of the top 50 fastest growing companies for the second year in a row.

After being ranked 28th in 2011, CJ Pony Parts was ranked #16 on the 2012 list of businesses making significant contributions to the growth, strength and success of the Central PA economy.

An event was held this morning at the Harrisburg Hilton to recognize the winners and announce their ranks. In addition to the awards breakfast, each of the “Top 50 Fastest Growing Companies” will be profiled in a special supplement to the next issue of the Central Penn Business Journal, with information on each company’s financial growth.

In order to be eligible for nomination, companies had to be for-profit entities headquartered in Adams, Cumberland, Dauphin, Lancaster, Lebanon, Perry or York counties. SF&Company received the company’s nomination information, then ranked the companies according to revenue growth over a three-year period. Both dollar and percentage increases were taken into consideration, which led to the list of the 2012 Top 50 Fastest Growing Companies, consisting of both large and small companies throughout the area.

CJ Pony Parts is number 16 among the area’s
Top 50 Fastest Growing Companies

Harrisburg, PA (September 11, 2012) – CJ Pony Parts is proud to announce its rank of number 16 on the sixteenth annual list of the fifty top businesses making significant contributions to the growth, strength and success of the Central PA economy.

An event was held Monday morning at the Hilton Harrisburg to recognize the winners and announce their ranks. In addition to the awards breakfast, the “Top 50 Fastest Growing Companies” will be profiled in a special supplement to the September 14, 2012, issue of the Central Penn Business Journal, with information on each company’s financial growth.

In order to be eligible for nomination, companies had to be public or private, for-profit entities headquartered in Adams, Cumberland, Dauphin, Lancaster, Lebanon, Perry or York county. They were required to show revenue of at least $500,000 in each of the fiscal years ending 2009, 2010, and 2011; then demonstrate revenue growth for 2011 as compared to 2009.

SF&Company calculated the nominations and then ranked the companies according to revenue growth over the three-year period. Both dollar and percentage increases were taken into consideration, which led to the list of the 2012 Top 50 Fastest Growing Companies, consisting of both large and small companies.
