Customer Appreciation Day 2012 Sets New Records!

Posted on 15. Aug, 2012 by in Car Shows, Videos

Every year, we wonder how Customer Appreciation Day can get bigger and better. This year, with nearly 500 Mustangs, thousands of people, and a new record $30,000 donation to The Four Diamonds Fund, we were blown away!

At CAD this past Saturday, everyone in attendance helped us raise a record breaking $30,000 for the Penn State Hershey Four Diamonds Fund. Thank you to each one of you who attended the show and contributed through donations, t-shirt purchases, and by participating in the raffles. You, our loyal and extremely generous customers, helped make a big difference for this amazing cause…THANK YOU!!

While the day started a little cloudy, the sun quickly came out, as did nearly 500 of our loyal customers who helped make the day a blast! More than a dozen vendors were here, showing off some new and cool products for your Mustangs, while DJ’s Smoke Shack was on site, serving up some of their great food and donating half of their sales right to the Four Diamonds fund. As usual, the parking lot was packed with tons of beautiful Mustangs, and many enjoyed the Kids Zone, horse rides, prize wheel, raffles and more!

The Winners:

As always, we have our popular vote car show throughout the day. With nearly 500 Mustangs in the show, there were lots of choices! After thousands of votes and lots of counting, the cars below were crowned the winners. They are some fantastic looking Mustangs, too!

LIVE Install

New for CAD this year, CJ Pony Service performed a LIVE installation of a new SSBC Force-10 14″ Front Brake Upgrade Kit and a new SSBC Force-10 Sport R1 13″ Rear Brake Upgrade Kit for Gotta Have It Street! They installed the black powdercoated version, with the lettering custom painted in Gotta Have It Green! The install only took the CJ Pony Service team a few hours of the morning and greatly upgraded the stopping power for Gotta Have It Street. More information, including a full installation video, will be coming in the next few weeks.

Thank you!

Every year, there are so many people to thank for making this such a great event. First and foremost, we want to thank OUR CUSTOMERS! Without each and every one of you, none of this would be possible! Next, we want to thank our vendors and employees for their help and support leading up to and during the event. There is so much work done behind the scenes to make Customer Appreciation Day go as smoothly as possible, and we could not do it without the support and generosity of our vendors, and the hard work of our employees. We also want to thank the volunteers from Central Dauphin High School’s Four Diamonds chapter, as well as our employee family members. There is always more than enough work to do for our vendors and employees, so it is very inspiring that we have so much volunteer support every year! A few other special thank yous go out to:

- Huffy the Clown (entertainer/sound equipment)
- Glenn Hill (our DJ/announcer)
- West Hanover Fire Dept./Fire Police

We can’t say thank you enough to everyone for making this day possible. We genuinely love putting on this event and hope to keep doing it for many, many more years to come! See you at next year’s Customer Appreciation Day!

We would like to thank you for another fantastic CAD. You guys really do make us feel appreciated. Everyone from the helpful parking attendants to the friendly food servers goes the extra mile to make all attendees feel special. I was so impressed by the efficiency in which you hosted a record setting crowd.

Much thanks to all involved, for another fantastic CAD event. Great pics., I saw my car 4 times and never saw it before. Can’t imagine, how much is involved in putting on an event of this magnitude. You really know how to put on a show!!! The mark of a very good business is when they show their employees and their customers how much they appreciate them. The mark of a great business, is when they give back to their community and or well deserving charities. Congrats., onyour record setting donation to The Four Diamonds Fund of $30,000. You guys have done it all; you can be truly proud of yourselves. Wishing you many more great years!!!!!
