Get your Mustang ready for Customer Appreciation Day 2012!

The summer season brings great weather, longer days and the herd of Mustangs! CJ’s has lots of events planned, both near and far for you to attend this summer, but the most important event that no Mustang fan should miss is Customer Appreciation Day 2012! If you can only make it to central Pennsylvania for one event this summer, make it CJCAD12!

After last year’s record breaking event, we’re setting our sights even higher for this year! While the slight threat of rain kept a few customers away last year, we’re optimistic for a picture-perfect day this August. We hope to see lots more Mustangs, beating our all-time highest attendance record from 2010! Last year, YOU, our loyal customers helped us make a record donation of $25,000 to the Penn State Hershey Four Diamonds Fund. This year, with your help, we want to do even MORE. So let’s keep the momentum rolling at CJ’s 12th annual FREE car show event!

The Where & When:

CJ’s Customer Appreciation Day 2012 (#CJCAD12), will be held on Saturday August 11th, 2012 from 9am-2pm EST at our Harrisburg, PA location. The CJ Pony Parts showroom will be open from 9am-1pm. We’ll also be running our popular Premium Parking Permit program again this year, though the permits are already SOLD OUT!

Popular Vote Car Show:

We will be holding five popular vote contests again, this year. All categories are FREE to enter! There is no registration fee required!

The Charity:

At the last few CADs, we have established a strong tradition of making bigger and better donations to our favorite charity, The Four Diamonds Fund. That’s going to continue this year, as all of our donations from the day, including from charity auctions, t-shirt sales and food sales will be going right to The Four Diamonds Fund. Customer Appreciation Day is all about showing our customers a great time, while helping out a charity that really matters! Last year, we crushed 2010′s donation of $19,000 by raising an incredible $25,000 in 1 day and we’re sure we’ll do better this year, with your help!

If you don’t know who The Four Diamonds Fund is or what they do, here is a little background info from their website.

The mission of The Four Diamonds Fund is to conquer childhood cancer by assisting children treated at Penn State Hershey Children’s Hospital and their families through superior care, comprehensive support and innovative research. Any family with a child being treated for pediatric cancer at Penn State Hershey Children’s Hospital is automatically eligible for support. The fund has helped more than 2,000 families since 1972. Approximately 100 new families receive support each year.

$25,000 raised last year… Let’s crush that number!

The Vendor Showcase:

Our showroom will once again be transformed into our very popular Vendor Showcase area, where you can meet some of our BIGGEST vendors and check out displays and information on the parts you want! Vendors like TMI, BBK, Prestolite, Distinctive Industries, Magnaflow, Edelbrock, Powermaster and a special appearance by Ford Racing, with a new performance Mustang! Representatives from each company will be on hand to display new parts and help answer questions. Keep checking for updates on more vendors possibly showing up this year!

FREE, FREE, FREE:

As always, we will have great music playing all day from our MC tent in front of CJ Pony Service. There will also be free food and drinks for everyone, tons of giveaway prizes at our PRIZE WHEEL, raffles, silent auctions and guided tours of our facilities. There are plenty of activities for the kids (including the return of Pony Rides!) and a new car being raffled off, by Hospice of Lancaster!
