Pony Trails 2012 is right around the corner! Ready to cruise?

With the weather warming up this season, have you had your Mustang out on the road yet? If not, get it out of the garage! Pony Trails 2012 hits the road next Friday!

CJ’s will again be hosting their annual “Pony Trails” cruise next Friday, June 1st. Polish up the Mustang and meet at CJ Pony Parts for a scenic drive in the country, ending up in Carlisle, just in time for the Ford Nationals event that will be hosted there that weekend. Check out the details below!

Begins at: CJ Pony Parts, 7461 Allentown Blvd, Harrisburg, PA 17112
Ends at: North Middleton Park in Carlisle, PA
Drive Time: Approximately 1 Hour 21 Minutes
Date: Friday, June 1st, 2012
Meet at CJ’s: 8:00am
Leave CJ’s: 9:00am

Pony Trails consists of a large group of Mustang enthusiasts taking an easy tour through the rolling countryside of Central Pennsylvania. Anyone is welcome to join us on this cruise and there is no need to pre-register for the event. All Ford vehicles are welcome to attend. You will pass through small towns and villages and view some of the area’s best farm lands and country architecture. Expect to arrive in Carlisle around 11:00 am.

Before the event, meet at CJ’s at 8:00 a.m. to get registered, pick up your goody bag (with an awesome FREE t-shirt!), and have the opportunity to scope out a few parts for your Mustang in our showroom. We’ll also have free donuts, juice and coffee for your enjoyment. After a short driver’s meeting right before 9 a.m., it will be time to hit the road!

1. Right out of CJ’s onto Route 22/Allentown Blvd. .8 miles
2. Left at the traffic light onto North Clover Lane .4 miles
3. Turn left onto Manor Drive .8 miles
4. Continue onto Sandy Hollow Road 1.0 miles
5. Turn right onto Piketown Road 1.7 miles
6. Turn left to stay on Piketown Road 2.0 miles
7. Continue onto Sleepy Hollow Road 1.8 miles
8. Continue onto PA-443 West/Fishing Creek Valley Road 7.5 miles
9. Merge onto US-22 East/US-322 East via the ramp to Harrisburg 3.3 miles
10. Take the I-81 South/I-81 North/US-322 East exit toward Carlisle/I-83/Hershey/Hazleton .2 miles
11. Keep right at the fork, follow signs for Interstate 81 South/Carlisle and merge onto I-81 South 2.0 miles
12. Take exit 65 for US-15 North/US-15 South/US-11 North/US-11 South towards Marysville/Enola .4 miles
13. Merge onto US-11 North/US-15 North/North Enola Road. Continue to follow US-11 North/US-15 North 2.0 miles
14. Turn left onto PA-850 West/Valley Street 10.0 miles
15. Turn left onto Mountain Road 2.4 miles
16. Turn left onto PA-34 South/Spring Road 2.7 miles
17. Turn right onto PA-944 West/Enola Road 5.2 miles
18. Turn left onto PA-74 South/Waggoners Gap Road 3.2 miles
END – Turn left into North Middleton Park.
