We announced a few months ago that, coming in June 2012, CJ’s is again sponsoring the latest Rally North America journey, the CJ Pony Parts – Rally Dixie 2012. Now, we want to give you a chance to win a spot in the upcoming rally!

But first, if you didn’t read our post from September, here’s a very brief bit of background on the CJ Pony Parts – Rally Dixie 2012. It kicks off on June 19, 2012 from Noblesville, Indiana and ends the first day at Smokey Bones Bar & Fire Grill in Bowling Green, Kentucky, with an Autocross event somewhere in between. The next day will kick off at the National Corvette Museum, stop at the Clarksville Speedway, and end in Gadsden, Alabama. The final day of the Rally features some pace laps at the Talladega Super Speedway and will end up at the Ramada Plaza Beach Resort in Fort Walton Beach, Florida. Each day also features eight secret checkpoints at historical or scenic locations to guide the voyage. The CJ Pony Parts – Rally Dixie 2012 charity will be the Accelerated Cure Project, which works to accelerate the cure for Multiple Sclerosis by better funding research into the causes and mechanisms of the disease. Despite decades of diligent research by scientists worldwide, nobody fully understands what causes MS, what triggers a relapse, or what causes lasting disability in people with MS. Accelerated Cure Project is helping scientists to get to the bottom of these questions. Their ultimate goal is to produce knowledge that can be used to stop the effects of the disease in people with MS, and prevent MS in people who are at risk. They are also helping scientists develop safer, more effective treatments and to create new methods for diagnosing MS. CJ’s sponsorship of the Rally Dixie 2012 is tied to a direct donation to this worthwhile cause.

To take part, you have three options. First, you can visit the Rally North America website and register via the Stand By Form, where you’ll pay a $200 registration fee to reserve your spot. As of today, there’s still 18 spots available.

Your second option, starting TODAY, is to enter to win a FREE registration to the CJ Pony Parts – Rally Dixie 2012, along with a FREE $200 VISA Gift Card! All you need to do to enter is comment on this post. That’s it. We’ll choose two winners and contact them directly. Make sure to enter by January 2, 2012!

Finally, the third option is to support another team, which is great if you can’t be  there in person but still want to be part of the event! All you need to do to donate on behalf of a participating team is visit this website. Your donation goes directly to the Accelerated Cure Project, so you know you’re helping out a VERY worthy cause!

    Since the Mustang is already comprised half of CJ Pony parts….why not accelerate repair of the other half and be ready for the rally??? After all I got half a year… :) :):)

    I couldn’t have been able to get my 73 convertible done without CJ Pony Parts! 80% of my restoration came from these guys. My hat is off to you and the good things you do not only for your customers but for your charitable contributions. That’s what makes American Business’s stand out from the others. I would be proud to participate in this rally.

    It’s only been two years since I’ve gotten my 86 Gt back on the road after being in storage for 10 years. My wife and I bought the GT in 1987. Cj’s was alot of help getting the needed parts and they are always there when I find I need to fix something else or want to add.
    I tried to go on the Allegheny run(?) last year but work and other things got in the way. I would love to go on this years and with a little help that could be possible, and since my wife is from the south we have an extra reason to go, other than what I hear is a great time for all who do go.
    Even if I don’t get the chance I would like to thank CJ’s for their part in the ralley and their help with MS. My younger sister, now about 50, has been dealing with it for years.

    I believe there is no other Mustang shop out there that provides the level of parts for ALL years and models and at while at the same time provide an install service on station that is keenly aware of all the model year cars aftermarket parts. I’ve had nothing but a great experience with CJ Pony Parts for all my Mustang and Saleen parts needs that I drive all the way from Maryland just to have work done.
    You guys are truly awesome and look forward to 2012 with CJ Pony Parts right by my side for all my Mustang needs.

    I have 4 Mustangs, and with out you guys, I would be out in every junk yard in north America looking for parts, and worse yet cleaning the whole thing! So thank you for being there! I also have a 69 Torino Talladega I find parts in your store for that car also!
