In Part 2 of our "Cool Mustangs at SEMA 2011" series, we're going to show off the Roush Stage 3 Premier Edition, which was unveiled yesterday at SEMA at the Sherwin Williams booth. Simply put, take a standard Roush Stage 3 Mustang and combine it with some pretty cool colors from Sherwin Williams, and you have a great looking car that is really fast as well!
The car has three areas for custom coloring--a base color, a graphic color and graphic accent colors--along with a dozen color choices for each of these areas giving an "impressive palette of combination possibilities."
“This is a show-quality, premier paint application process. All paint is hand-applied at our ROUSH Performance facilities in Livonia, Mich., along with technical support from the Sherwin-Williams team,” said Roush. “It’s a tri-coat application that introduces subtle hues of reflective flaking into the paint so the colors really dance and bounce as the Premier Edition adjusts to the changing sunlight angles. It’s a very intense paint process, but we’ve got a winning formula to make these Mustangs look great!”
Buyers can choose from the following color choices for their own Roush Stage 3 Premier Edition Mustang:
