New 2013 Mustang to be unveiled on November 15!

It was leaked earlier today that the new 2013 Mustang’s launch is going to be coming up on Tuesday, November 15, 2011! We had reported in mid-August and again in late August that the new 2013 Mustang would be unveiled at the LA Auto Show, but a local radio station let the news out of the bag that the 2013 Ford Mustang will be unveiled at a private concert at the Belasco Theater in Downtown LA on the 15th, one day before the show opens. The station is giving away 50 tickets to the event, which is only open to those 21+. Hurry! If you want to go, you only have until 10 a.m. tomorrow, 11/11/11, to enter!

We’ve heard and reported quite a bit about the new 2013 Mustang so far, so we have a good idea what to expect. For the engines, there won’t be a lot of change, except possibly a bump in power. The Shelby GT500, however, is getting a whole new engine to better compete with the Camaro ZR-1. Other updates include revised styling similar to the current GT500 and interior updates.

Mustangs Daily just obtained slightly masked shots of both the new 2013 Mustang, which you can see here. However, to see the unmasked version, we’ll have to wait until late next Tuesday night, if you live in LA, or you can just check back here on Wednesday.
