Hosts Brian Fuller and Kevin Byrd will be working hard on a 1967 Mustang Road Racer, which they’re preparing to run vintage races in the SVRA (Sportscar Vintage Racing Association). CJ’s will be participating in one of the projects to make the car SVRA legal, while two of our vendors, American Autowire and Modern Driveline, will also be featured in some other work on the car.

The episode, “1967 Mustang Road Racer,” premieres at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, October 15 on SPEED, while repeats will air on Sunday, October 16 at 9:00 a.m., Wednesday, October 19 at 3:00 p.m. or Friday, October 21 at 4:00 a.m., if you miss the first airing.

One of the bigger projects is dropping a new Ford Boss push rod engine into the car, while the suspension, tires, wheels, and numerous other parts will require upgrades and work to get ready for SVRA. Like we said, it’s definitely a Mustang project you won’t want to miss. Make sure you check it out–Saturday, 10:30 a.m. on SPEED!
