2012 Ford Mustang named one of NADAguides Recommended Buys

Yesterday, the 2012 Ford Mustang was named one of the NADAguides recommended buys, along with eight other models. This list is named based on an analysis of depreciation values, incentives and rebates, features, warranty and assistance services.

According to Troy Snyder, the NADAguides director of product development, “What was previously only available in luxury segment vehicles is now starting to become standard across all types of makes and models. These features, coupled with a great warranty, additional customer services such as free maintenance, and competitive incentives, are making many new vehicles much more attractive for car buyers.”

NADAguides noted that the 2012 Ford Mustang had only a 12% first year depreciation rate and a competitive price, ranging from the V6 coupe at the low end of the spectrum, to the Shelby GT500 at $53,810, which NADAguides recognized as a value for what you got. Currently, there’s also a $500 cash back incentive, or 3.9% financing for six years, all to help move a two month supply of inventory. Ford’s website also notes an additional $1000 cash back and better financing rates if you finance for a shorter term. NADAguides also notes the warranty and roadside assistance program of the Mustang as a positive, and that “the speed and horsepower make it a great choice for muscle car customers at these prices.”

The 2012 Mustang joins the 2011 Audi S5, 2012 BMW 6 Series, 2012 Chevrolet Colorado, 2011 GMC Terrain, 2012 Hyundai Tucson, 2011 Land Rover LR4, 2011 Toyota Venza and 2012 Volkswagen CC on the NADAguides Recommended Buys list.

I have one. Put a shaker scoop, new exhast, louvers, RTR front air dam, tuned and other mods at 30 miles! It looks great and now is pushing close to 450 hp if you believe to parts manufacturs.I really don’t know about that but man it is a sweet ride. Much better than the 07 I traded. This is what the next Mach 1 should look like.
