We’ve shared a lot about the 2012 Roush Stage 3 Mustang over the last few weeks, including its “taking back of the pavement” and the car doing some laps of the Summit Point Raceway. But, what about the 2012 Stage 1 and Stage 2 Roush Mustang models? Well, Roush finally unveiled these models and we’re sharing them to you!
Roush Stage 1 Mustang
The Roush Stage 1 Mustang gets a host of exterior Roush styling updates, including a custom designed front fascia, chin spoiler, side splitters, rear valance, decklid spoiler, fender badges and windshield banner. It’s also equipped with a front fascia blackout graphic, rear blackout panel with Jack Roush signature and rear “Roush R” faux fuel cap emblem. The interior features embroidered floor mats, a Roush center console button, and a unique Stage 1 badge.
All this costs only $4,680, though many additional Roush options are available, including Roush illuminated door sill plates, the Roush 6 speed shifter ball, quarter window louvers, engine coil covers, and upper and lower front billet grilles.
Roush Stage 2 Mustang
The Stage 2 takes the Roush Stage 1 Mustang package and adds on some handling upgrades. So, you’re getting pretty similar appearance upgrades, but adding specially designed front struts, rear shocks, front and rear springs, front and rear sway bars, and a jounce bumper. It also includes a set of 18 inch wheels wrapped in high performance Cooper 2XS tires. This package costs $7,800 and, similarly to the Stage 1, has numerous options available for both the appearance and handling of the car.
Our source also noted that the Roush Stage 3 Mustang is now 50 state legal, meaning our Californian audience can now legally own one. Take a look at the Roush Stage 1/2 Mustang brochure, and let us know what you think of this package, and whether you see one in your future!
