Classic Recreations adds Shelby Mustang GT350CR model

Classic Recreations is a company that builds classic looking Mustang replicas that have high powered modern underpinnings. Earlier this year, they announced they are creating a rebuilt 1967 Shelby Mustang GT500CR, and now they’ve announced the new 1966 Shelby Mustang GT350CR.

For this car, Classic Recreations took a 1965 or 1966 Mustang fastback and modified it…a lot. They added a 545 horsepower 7.0 liter V-8, along with a lot of extras, including a Tremec manual transmission, Shelby racing seats, GT350CR floor mats, and a wood and aluminum steering wheel. It also comes with a set of 17-inch aluminum wheels, a Magnaflow exhaust and Shelby brakes, all for the modest sticker of $119,000. Of course, there’s plenty of options available too, including an aluminum block and supercharger for the engine, that adds $9,500 to the price, but adds 100 horsepower to the engine. Or, if you choose, you can go with the twin turbo and intercooler option, for only an extra $9,000, which brings the car to more than 1,000 horsepower!
