StangNet’s ‘Built to Cruise’ Mustang hits Tulsa!

After more than a year's worth of work, StangNet's 'Built to Cruise' (or BTC) Mustang has finally hit the road! As of last week, the car was nearly finished, and was packed up for the trip to the Mid-America Ford Nationals in Tulsa, OK, where it was on display at the event this past weekend.

This Fox Body Mustang has undergone a complete transformation, receiving a new "Coyote" 5.0 V8 engine, repainted exterior, and a whole new interior in the last few months. See StangNet's BTC page for the full list of everything that was upgraded and updated on this Mustang. CJ Pony Parts was instrumental in allowing this project to happen, being one of the sponsors for the restoration and providing many of the parts.

In fact, CJ Pony Parts has all of the parts you need to complete your own "Coyote" 5.0 V8 engine swap on a Fox Body Mustang. Check out what you might need to do your own Fox Body "Coyote" 5.0 V8 engine swap, or see what's available for other upgrades to your Mustang.

Take a look at the pictures of the beautiful "Built to Cruise" Mustang, and stay tuned. StangNet says they're having a minor issue with the BTC's idle and the long tube headers. Once that's all fixed up, they're promising some killer videos of BTC in action!
