Get ready for Pony Trails 2011!

With the sun finally out on a more regular basis, and the weather warming up, it’s time to pull that Mustang out of the garage and get it back out on the road for the summer! Coming up next Friday, June 3rd, CJ’s will again be hosting their annual “Pony Trails” drive. Polish up the Mustang and meet at CJ Pony Parts for a scenic drive in the country, ending up in Carlisle, just in time for the Ford Nationals event that will be hosted there that weekend. Check out the details below!

Begins at: CJ Pony Parts, 7461 Allentown Blvd, Harrisburg, PA 17112
Ends at: North Middleton Park in Carlisle, PA *Updated! See below for updated directions*
Drive Time: Approximately 1 Hour 8 Minute
Date: Friday, June 3rd, 2011
Meet at CJ’s: 8:00am
Leave CJ’s: 9:00am

Pony Trails consists of a large group of Mustang enthusiasts taking an easy tour through the rolling countryside of Central Pennsylvania. Anyone is welcome to join us on this cruise and there is no need to pre-register for the event. All Ford vehicles are welcome to attend. You will pass through small towns and villages and view some of the area’s best farm lands and country architecture. Expect to arrive at the final destination around 11:00 am.

1. Right out of CJ’s onto Route 22/Allentown Blvd. .3 miles
2. Right at traffic light on South Clover Lane .7 miles
3. Continue straight onto Green Hill Road .7 miles
4. Turn left onto Oak Grove Road .6 miles
5. Continue onto North Hoernerstown Road 1.9 miles
6. Turn right onto Union Deposit Road 1.6 miles
7. Turn left to stay on Union Deposit Road .7 miles
8. Slight left onto Nyes Road 433 feet
9. Take the 1st right on Union Deposit Road 3.2 miles
10. Merge onto I-83 North/US-322 West towards Hazelton 2.1 miles
11. Continue onto US-322W (signs for I-81 South Carlisle/Lewistown) .5 miles
12. Merge onto I-81 South 4.3 miles
13. Take Exit 65 to merge onto US-11/US-15 South towards Enola 1.2 miles
14. Slight right onto Valley Road 3.3 miles
15. Turn right onto PA-944 West/Wertzville Road 7.3 miles
16. Turn left onto PA-944 West/Wertzville Road 3.2 miles
17. Turn left onto PA-34 South/PA-944 West/Spring Road .7 miles
18. Turn right onto Wagner Drive 1.2 miles
19. Turn left onto Crains Gap Road 489 feet
20. Turn right onto North Middleton Road 2.4 miles
21. Turn left onto PA-74 South/Waggoners Gap Road 1 mile
