CJ’s 10th Annual Customer Appreciation Day!

Hands down, August 14th, 2010 will be one of the biggest days in CJ Pony Parts’ 25 years of business! We are excited to announce our 10th annual CUSTOMER APPRECIATION DAY! This year’s CAD is sure to be a show that you DO NOT want to miss!

2010 has been a HUGE year for all of us at CJ Pony Parts. We are celebrating 25 years in business, a serious milestone for a Mustang parts supplier. Not only that, but 2010 marks our 10th annual Customer Appreciation Day car show. This is truly a year for customer appreciation. Our new FREE SHIPPING all day, every day policy has been a huge hit with our customers this year, and has helped CJ’s stay strong during a rocky time for our country’s economy. We want to thank you all for your business and support, and what better way than to throw a FREE car show event at our Harrisburg, PA facilities!

Last year, we had our largest show with approximately 460 cars and 1500+ people! We expect to break those records this year, and we have some big additions to help us reach that goal!

The Time & Place:

Customer Appreciation Day (CAD), will be held on August 14th, 2010 from 9am-2pm, RAIN OR SHINE. The CJ Pony Parts showroom will be open from 9am-1pm.

The Charity:

We have stuck with our favorite charity, The Four Diamonds Fund. All money raised during the show from charity fundraisers and t-shirt sales will be donated to The Four Diamonds Fund. Customer Appreciation Day is all about showing our customers a great time, while helping out a charity that really matters! Last year we raised almost $8,000. Our goal this year is to raise $10,000!

If you don’t know who The Four Diamonds Fund is or what they do, here is a little background info from their website.

The mission of The Four Diamonds Fund is to conquer childhood cancer by assisting children treated at Penn State Hershey Children’s Hospital and their families through superior care, comprehensive support, and innovative research.

Any family with a child being treated for pediatric cancer at Penn State Hershey Children’s Hospital is automatically eligible for support.

The Fund has helped more than 2,000 families since 1972. Approximately 100 new families receive support each year.

The Show:

In years past, we have only had a Best of Show popular vote category. This year, we have five popular vote categories. All categories are FREE to enter! There is no registration fee required!

Popular Vote Categories:
-Best Early Model Mustang (1964-1978)
-Best Fox Body Mustang (1979-1993)
-Best SN95 Mustang (1994-2004)
-Best S197 Mustang (2005-2011)
-Best of Show

The Vendors:

Some of our BIGGEST vendors are setting up displays for you to visit and find information on the parts you want! Vendors like Ford Racing, Stainless Steel Brakes, Flowmaster, Edelbrock, BAER Brakes, Powermaster and Grant. Representatives from each company will be on hand to display new parts and help answer questions.

The Music:

Another big addition we are excited to announce, is that we will have LIVE music this year, brought to you by The Eclectics! The Eclectics are an exciting new group culled from the lineups of several great local PA bands. Primarily focusing on songs from the 80s (with an occasional nod to other classics), The Eclectics bring an A-game to the great songs from that era. The Eclectics are all about having a great time, playing some great songs, and being blessed with great audiences. You can find out more about The Eclectics and become a fan on their facebook page. The Eclectics will have an hour performance around noon. Music and announcements for the rest of the day will be handled by our MC.

The Attractions:

As with every other Customer Appreciation Day hosted by CJ Pony Parts, you can expect a great deal more than just a car show. We have tons of events and attractions lined up this year for everyone to enjoy, so bring the whole family!

Kids can visit our face-painting tent, jump around in our inflatable bouncers or visit Huffy the Clown. We also will have our famous PRIZE WHEEL setup, so that everyone can get a chance at winning some free stuff!

We will also have guided tours of our warehouse and service department, all day! Check out all the cool projects CJ Pony Service is working on, stand inside our MASSIVE warehouse and see where your orders are pulled and shipped from.

Another big attraction this year is local celebrity and VIP, Tony Intrieri from season 3 of Bullrun! He will be visiting with his famous 1970 Mach 1 Mustang. Bullrun is a nationally televised rally-event reality show on the SPEED channel. The show finished their 3rd season in April of 2010.

The Food:

At some point, everyone will get hungry… CJ’s has that covered, too! We will be providing FREE hot dogs and refreshments all day!

Had a great time last year, and really looking forward to this year’s event! A few of us in the Southern Maryland Mustang Club are going to make the trip up, it’s definitely worth the drive!

Thanks for a great time! The cars and the people made the overpriced crappy hotel and the drive through lots of construction well worth the trip! What a huge turnout Looking forward to the next one! The weather was perfect and we’ll definitely get there earlier for a better parking spot next time. Great day!

My husband and I and another couple drove out for the day. The weather was so nice and what a large variety of cars to look at. This was the most organized event I’ve ever been to. We had a wonderful time and I’m sure we’ll be back for more.

Super Awesome day ( a 300 mile run) and absolutely beautiful cars. Bought me some needed items and to my surprise the people loved my 02 SSS (Satin Sliver Sleeper) and won 2nd place SN95 Mustang. Thanks to all those who voted for my baby. You Folks, CJ Pony and Tri-State Stallions ROCK!!!

We would just like to thank everyone at cj pony parts and their volunteers who helped out for an unbelievable day. I had some bad luck with my pony 2 days before the show but I still wanted to bring it and put it in the stables with the rest. See everyone next year and have fun getting ready.

This was the first CAD I attended. CJ Pony Parts, you are first class. ♥ I was amazed at how all but every car there was in decent or better condition, no junk. And to the PSP, let the boys have a little fun when they’re leaving, it wasn’t hurting anyone…Thank you so much for putting on a great day for all in attendance! ☺☺
